Epiel is the largest independent producer of Silicon Epitaxial Wafers and provider of Epitaxial Services for the Microelectronics Industry in Russia and the CIS. Epiel is partner of the leading Russian electronic device manufacturers. We manufacture high quality Silicon Epitaxial Wafers for various applications including discrete devices and integrated circuits.

Epiel JSC was set up in 1998 in Zelenograd, Moscow with the aim to provide Silicon Epitaxial Wafers and Epi services for bipolar IC and power device manufacturers in Russia.

In a short period of time the company established itself as the leading Epi provider in Russia. This was largely due to concentration of the best Silicon Epitaxy specialists in Epiel as well as constant development of equipment and technology.

The four basic principles of our operations are:


  • We can provide customized Epi according to customer requirements as well as mass standard Epi products;
  • We can supply small quantities;
  • We can provide Epi deposition on customerís substrates, including buried layer epitaxy.

Epiel manufactures a wide range of Silicon Epitaxial Wafers for various applications including discrete devices and integrated circuits. Epitaxial wafer sizes available are 76, 100 and 150 mm.

Silicon on Sapphire (SOS) Epitaxy

Epiel’s product portfolio includes Epitaxial Silicon on Sapphire (SOS) wafers for such applications as Tenso modules and Integrated circuits (IC).
