High-voltage cathodic protection junction box is designed for commercial usage in cathodic protection systems of metallic (steel) underground systems viz.: gas transmission pipelines, oil pipelines, delivery duct, utilities and in other analogue types of underground installations. It provides electrochemical corrosion (soil) protection and protection from stray current influence which may occur due to rail electric transport and other energy installations activity

The devices are designed for open air installation.

Design features

●The devices provide 0.23 kV high-voltage (6 or 10kV) distribution composed equipment placement in cathodic protection transducer supply circuit and range of auxiliary equipment placement (telemechanic equipment, heating system etc.) in one metallic cover

●The device is metallic cabinet placed on handling carrier and consists of two compartments - LV transducer and HV transducer designed as single construction with air input box.

●Supply input is carried out by means of aerial circuit of 6 or 10 kV depending on device type via disconnect installed on pylon. Disconnect isn't included in delivery set.

●The following devices are placed in air input box:

- two bushings;

- two protection device holders with bushings;

- two removable HV fuses (links);

- four communication buses.

●HV junction box includes line transformer of 6/0,23kV voltage or 10/0,23kV depending on devices type and 10 kVA power.

●In the left part of device there are inputs for protection building drainage and control-measuring cables, sacrificial anode, reference electrode and other devices in HV junction box.

●In the right part of device there are inputs for power and control cables for auxiliary UKZV while its operation in HV distribution device.

●There are the key locks with identical secret on cabinet doors.

●There is an electrical filter for connection, for instance, of electric tool and portable light in the distribution board placed in LV distribution device of 36V voltage

●There are two heating elements and temperature relay for device cabinet temperature management in the devices with climatic version U1 and UHL1 in LV device compartment.

●There are hinges on the top of the cabinet and on air input box cover for devices lifting and transportation
